In September 1995 I became a Dad. My daughter Victoria Helen Shaw was born. I expected this to dramatically change my life and I have not been disappointed. Now, I have never been so tired as I have been since Victoria has been around, sleep has never been so much sought after. So generally my mind tends to wander a bit more than usual. Coupled with that the unexpected perk of the reading and rereading of great children’s books, one of our favorites being A.A. Milnes Winnie the Pooh. I am not talking about those Walt Disney things, which are alright I suppose, but the original stories. Well, there I am late at night, reading these to my daughter before she can even understand what I’m saying and I start to wonder just what a Heffalump or for that matter a Woozle looks like.
